KS1 Stay and Read sessions

It was great to be able to join in with games and work with our child; I could tell they enjoyed it as well. The morning was well organised with all the activities set out ready for our arrival.

It was very interesting and, in my opinion, very positive for the children to see how parents are actively involved in their learning.

Useful insight into how to get the most out of our evening reading sessions - the handouts with question stems are very helpful. I will definitely use a lot of the reading tools, which were shared.

Really useful and interesting - it's lovely to see the children are having fun while they learn.

Elm Class Assembly

Really appreciated the tea and coffee being made available before the assembly - it was a very nice gesture!

I was really impressed with the whole event. It gave me lots of ideas how I can help my child make reading and learning words fun. I loved all the ideas and it is useful to know what my child will be bringing home. Loved the new teacher. Thank you.

It was lovely to meet some of the children and their take on why they love their school. I was impressed with your catering team. We got some excellent pictures and footage and we are excited for the next steps at Ruislip Gardens Primary.

Wow! What a fantastic report. It was lovely to hear about my child’s personal and emotional growth as well as his academic achievements.

Thank you to Miss El and Mrs Cummings for everything you have done this year. You have supported my daughter to achieve her potential.

  • Excellent and entertaining show. Lovely display of artwork from the children.
  • Amazing performance from the children, loved the activities after, thank you. Well done to the class and teachers, really well thought out. Children and the parents had fun! Thank you.
  • I enjoyed thoroughly watching the children put on a fantastic and quite detailed show about the Romans. They covered all the important historical details in quite a short time, which in itself is quite an achievement. A big well done to the teachers for making that possible.
  • Very well researched, lots of hard work evident. Loved the activities after and looking at the work.
  • I enjoyed being invited to year 3’s assembly today and thought all the children participated very well.

We have always felt more than satisfied with the education our two daughters received at Ruislip Gardens Primary School. We could not have wished for any better experience for them. We would like to thank our daughters' teachers and all school staff members for their support and hard work.

Please could you say a massive thank you to all the nursery staff, my son recently left and his misses them all. They are a brilliant team, couldn't have asked for a better school for him to start his journey at. He has settled into his new nursery already. Just wanted to let them all know how amazing they really are!

Your communication strategy, especially the website, is excellent and every piece of correspondence we have received since we moved our son to the school has been well written, accurate and timely. For us this has been a welcome change after previous experiences elsewhere.

The House Captains showed us around and their information sharing was impressive. The children were friendly and welcoming and delighted us with handshakes at the end of our tour. The event was well organised and we really had a chance to see the children enjoying themselves. The website is really very impressive and so informative. What a great use of this tool for information sharing.
