Parent View June 2017
We have always felt more than satisfied with the education our two daughters received at Ruislip Gardens Primary School. We could not have wished for any better experience for them. We would like to thank our daughters' teachers and all school staff members for their support and hard work.
Feedback from a parent following the Easter 2017 Disco events
A big thanks for everyone involved in organising the disco. The kids had lots of fun and absolutely loved it. I appreciate a lot that the school staff ( from the cook to Mr Titeux ) had to stay behind and help out. It was definitely so much better and less crowded now that it is split in 2 different sessions. Thank you for marking it so special for our children .
Feedback from Chair of Governors following attendance at a Year 2 trip to the Tower of London in March 2017
Mr Courtnadge, Chair of our Governing Body, also attended as a parent helper and commented that this was an invaluable trip for the children that really helped bring their lessons to life. I was particularly impressed with the level of planning that had taken place to maximise learning time at the Tower of London but also ensure that the children were closely supervised. The 1:4 adult to child ratio and additional support arranged throughout the London Underground and at the Tower itself ensured that the children could travel and learn in an entirely safe environment
Feedback from an ex-parent who relocated area
Please could you say a massive thank you to all the nursery staff, my son recently left and his misses them all. They are a brilliant team, couldn't have asked for a better school for him to start his journey at. He has settled into his new nursery already. Just wanted to let them all know how amazing they really are!
Feedback from a parent who has recently joined the school
Your communication strategy, especially the website, is excellent and every piece of correspondence we have received since we moved our son to the school has been well written, accurate and timely. For us this has been a welcome change after previous experiences elsewhere.
Comments shared following Christmas Productions December 2016
The EYFS Christmas Production brought tears to my eyes. Despite their young age, they put on quite a show.
The KS1 Christmas show was spectacular.
The children must have worked so hard as they seemed so professional.
7 October 16 : Governor Visit
I have been hugely impressed with the behaviour of the children and the intelligent application of discipline. This appears to give a solid framework to deliver lessons and maximise the opportunity for learning. Teacher's commitment to providing feedback, particularly in workbooks, was notable. The ability for the children to set their own goals in their work and confidence to self assess their mastery of the subject was impressive. On speaking with the children I was impressed with how well they were able to explain the reasoning behind the work they were completing and the fun they were having. The teachers gave positive feedback about the school, their role and terms and conditions they operated under. Forest school was embraced by the students who enjoyed time out of the classroom.

The House Captains showed us around and their information sharing was impressive. The children were friendly and welcoming and delighted us with handshakes at the end of our tour.
The event was well organised and we really had a chance to see the children enjoying themselves.
The website is really very impressive and so informative. What a great use of this tool for information sharing.
Comments shared following Storytelling Evening March 2016
I thought the story telling evening was a fantastic idea. I loved the story that was told to the children at the end of the evening. It completely struck a chord and is something I can pass on to my other children when dealing with a loss of a person or a loved belonging. Thanks from a very happy parent.
I thought it was a lovely evening, and my child enjoyed singing the songs. I thought it gave parents really good tools to connect and communicate more with our kids, which is brilliant.

Had a very good feeling at the school when we attended the viewing, as did our daughter. I was really impressed to be shown around by year 6 student who was very helpful and made our daughter at ease and keen to look around. It is also on the way to work for both me and my husband so will be convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Also pleased it has breakfast and after-school facilities.
Ruislip Gardens Primary School is arguably the best school within our reach we would prefer to send our child to school where he can achieve the most desirable education and would able to unlock his potential for a better career ahead.
We would like our son to attend this school as we know it has a good reputation with looking after military children, I feel it is important for us for our son to be in an environment where the staff and fellow pupils are aware and empathetic with the lifestyle that comes with being a military family. He has many friends within the military community that will be/do attend Ruislip Gardens.
My son is a lively and eager to learn child who throughout his time in nursery has shown his ability to thrive in a positive school setting. I am therefore looking for a school that will maintain and support his on-going development/progress. I believe Ruislip Gardens Primary School offers that unique environment. The reputation of the school gives me confidence that my son will be challenged academically as he continues his education. I believe that a good introduction to formal education is very important to school life. I am therefore seeking a school that will meet the holistic needs of my son; a school where he and I can make a positive contribution to the school community. I'm impressed that the school offers additional pastoral care including breakfast and after school clubs, which will also help to further develop my son's social skills in a safe and secure environment, whilst I am working.

"After 10 years using the educational services/resources of RGS I and my wife are extremely pleased with the teaching, the manner in which the school is run and its strict policy on behaviour and all of its extra-curricular activities.
