Open Morning : 20th April 2017 : 9am-12pm
At Ruislip Gardens Primary School we want all our pupils to enjoy their learning as we strive to give them every opportunity to experience a stimulating curriculum supported by a range of extra-curricular activities, clubs and visits.
We are a ‘good’ school (Ofsted December 2011) with capacity for further improvement and our dedicated staff is very committed to providing care, support and challenge for all of our pupils. We have considerable expectations of our pupils in upholding and promoting the highest standards of behaviour and personal responsibility and, as a consequence, our children are often recognised for their politeness, courtesy and cheerfulness.
The school has a strong leadership team which has a resolute focus on continuing to raise standards and all staff endeavour to build positive relationships with parents and carers to ensure that children at Ruislip Gardens are happy, safe, and secure with all of their learning needs met. Pupils currently at the school make good progress with their learning and they take considerable pride in their work.
Our facilities are well proportioned and generous and afford children of all ages plenty of space and opportunity for outdoor learning and games. We have an extensive outdoor playing field which we use for our annual sports events and summer picnic; we also make use of the space to house a polytunnel in which we grow produce for use in our school kitchen. In September 2013 we expanded to three forms of entry and our younger pupils enjoy the benefits of a new modern teaching wing. Our Nursery has recently been completely refurbished and a substantial programme of re-decoration throughout the school has provided a brighter and more attractive learning environment for all of our pupils.
We believe that partnership is a key factor in ensuring success at Ruislip Gardens and we encourage strong and meaningful co-operation between school, home and our local community. We are always receptive to new ideas and are constantly exploring ways of raising the existing high level of achievement at our school.
I trust that our website will provide you with all of the key information that you require in order to know more about what we offer our pupils at Ruislip Gardens. If you have any further questions about our school please contact us, we would be delighted to give you a school tour and answer any other queries that you might have.
